Requirements to apply:
**Bachelor's degree in a related subject
**A full teaching qualification e.g. PGCE/Grad Dip Ed/Valid state teaching license
**At least 3 years relevant teaching experience
**Ability to teach IBDP Design and Technology
** Experience in providing English as a Second language classes would be beneficial
**Strong experience in teaching the IB curriculum
**Ability to teach another subject is also beneficial
**Ability to adapt to a different culture
Job description:

Have a high level of understanding of current research as to how children learn and possess the ability to motivate students to perform at their best

Classes, by creating challenging and engaging learning opportunities for all students
Be able to support student needs in learning and pastoral matters
Be aware of the principles of Understanding by Design and Assessment for Learning
Implement IB diploma policy and strategic plans
Liaise with the team and the curriculum leaders to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum to specified classes, including selecting resources and managing them efficiently in the classroom
Participate in the design, development, implementation and review of DP Chemistry programmes
Participate in the design, development, implementation and review of assessment and reporting systems
Develop an integrated, inquiry-based programme of Mathematics, with interdisciplinary links to other subjects
Use technology to support learning in Design and Technology , especially through use of a Virtual Learning Environment
