My client is known for being one of the best in the area, delivering the International Baccalaureate from Early Years to Secondary Education. Requirements to apply:
**Degree in Education or a PGCE in Education + NPQH
**Master of Education is beneficial
**Experience in the International Baccalaureate
**Stable career record with little movement
**At least 3 years in management
**International teaching experience is beneficial
**MUST be a native speaker of English
**Western-trained
**Be up to date with UK national curriculum
**Able to adapt to a different culture and environment
The Head of School will be running one of two campuses, and the starting date will be in August 2018.
Job responsibilities:
- To provide leadership to all professional staff working on campus, and to monitor and develop
their performances
- To appoint, in consultation with the Director, quality teachers and boarding parents
- To ensure quality learning takes place
- To ensure that a high quality of care is provided for all day and boarding students
- To ensure that ongoing professional development occurs and that this supports students’ needs
and the school's philosophy and goals
- To ensure appropriate facilities are available to support educational and boarding programmes
throughout the school
- To ensure that the school community is safe and secure at all times
- To support and apply the strategic plan in conjunction with the Board
- To prepare annual plans, budgets and reports for the campus to the SLT
- To represent the school’s mission, vision and values
- To maintain professional and healthy relationships with the staff, parents, students, Board and
wider community
- To ensure financial sustainability by efficient use of resources
- To provide support and leadership for marketing on the campus
- To lead the admission process and build relationships that ensure strong enrolment
- To initiate and maintain proper Human Resources management
