On behalf of my client, I am looking for a strong Head of Performing Arts to join the successful team of educators ASAP.
Requirements
-Bachelor's degree in a related subject
-Teaching qualification in Performing Arts or Drama, Music, Dance
-Stable experience in teaching the UK curriculum
-International experience is preferred
-Leadership/Management experience is required
-Ability to adapt to a different culture
This established and fully accredited British International school welcomes a number of around 600 students coming from different ethnic and social backgrounds.

As a Head of Performing Arts, you will:

To lead, manage and coordinate the strategic development of Performing Arts in the school in order to

maintain at least good achievement in the school

To lead, monitor and evaluate the innovation and development of learning and teaching strategies within

Performing Arts

To be accountable for student attainment and progress in Performing Arts ensuring every student achieves

and exceeds their potential

To be accountable for promoting and safeguarding students’ welfare and personal development as part of a
-
faculty and school approach
-
To take a full role within the school community as a senior middle leader

To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve

their individual potential

To lead the raising standards of student attainment within the Performing Arts faculty and the wider school

To assist in the process of curriculum development and change so as to ensure the continued relevance to

the needs of students, examining and awarding bodies and the school’s strategic direction

To assist the Leadership Team to ensure that the curriculum area provides a range of teaching which

complements the school's strategic objectives

To initiate and lead the faculty extracurricular and enrichment programme
