Our client is one of the leading international schools in the countries catering for over 600 children with over 40 different nationalities. The school follows the English National curriculum and IBDP programme. This position offers the opportunity to further develop a successful established programme. Pastoral experience will be required to oversee the PSHE programme and has direct responsibility for the academic and pastoral progress and wellbeing of IBDP students.

**Bachelor degree in Education
**Teaching qualification
**Minimum of 5 years teaching experience, preferably the ENC curriculum/IBDP
**Experience as IBDP Coordinator or Head of Department preferred
**English native speaker
**Flexible to adapt into new culture
Main duties:
**The IB Coordinator has a specific responsibility for administering the Diploma programme in the school and ensuring that the programme meets the required standards and practices of the IBO.
**Communication with parents, students and teachers is a key aspect of role, both to explain and to promote the programme.
**The Coordinator is the primary link between the school and the IBO and is responsible for ensuring Heads of Department and teachers have access to up to date information and appropriate training.
**The Coordinator oversees all aspects of the programme including Theory of Knowledge, CAS and the Extended Essay.
**The Coordinator will be responsible for the administration of all IB Examinations and internal assessment, ensuring deadlines are met and that students are supported through the examinations and beyond.
