This fully accredited school delivers the International Baccalaureate curriculum and welcomes students from 50 different countries and is insisting on the promotion of cultural diversity and internationalism.  The successful candidate will join the school next academic year and commit for a two years contract renewable on mutual agreement.

Who can apply?
**Bachelor's degree in science or a science-related subject
**A full teaching qualification e.g. PGCE/Grad Dip Ed/Valid state teaching license
**At least 3 years relevant teaching experience
**Ability to teach IBDP MYP Science
**Strong experience in teaching the IB curriculum 
**Ability to teach another subject is also 
 
IB MYP Science teacher:

Possess excellent communication skills and be willing to adapt to the demands of an international school, in particular, he/she should be able to communicate effectively in English
Have a high level of understanding of current research as to how children learn and possess the ability to
Motivate students to perform at their best
Through differentiated instruction, and by using a variety of styles, be able to inspire mixed culture and ability
Classes, by creating challenging and engaging learning opportunities for all students
Be able to support student needs in learning and pastoral matters
Be aware of the principles of Understanding by Design and Assessment for Learning 
Implement IB diploma policy and strategic plans
Liaise with the IBDP Science team and the curriculum leaders to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum to specified classes, including selecting resources and managing them efficiently in the classroom
Participate in the design, development, implementation and review of DP Chemistry programmes
Participate in the design, development, implementation and review of assessment and reporting systems 
Develop an integrated, inquiry-based programme of Chemistry and Physics with Biology , with interdisciplinary links to other subjects
Use technology to support learning in IBDP Science, especially through use of a Virtual Learning Environment

Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted
