Design and Technology Teacher Requirements:
**Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a middle or high school level
**Experience of running Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics projects across different grades
**Experience supervising students’ projects for creative design and innovation
**University Degree (Science, Engineering) or equivalent in a Design Technology related subject area
**Qualified teacher status through PGCE, DTLL, PTLL or other international equivalent
**Proficiency with MS Office
**Desirable understanding of programming web designing (java, HTML and python) and hardware (C++ & C#)
**Excellent oral and written English (IELTS 7 Academic for non-first language English speakers)
Job Description Teacher of Design and Technology:
**Undertake a designated program of teaching across all key stages
**Creating or adapting lesson materials
**Prioritize and manage time effectively, ensuring continued professional development in line with the role
**Evaluate the assessment and feedback to students in line with whole school and department policy
**Promote Design and Technology learning through out of hours’ activities
**Participate in meetings arranged for any proposes
**Ensuring a high-quality learning environment within the Design and Technology area
Salary Package for Design and Technology Teachers:
**A TAX-FREE salary of 21,000 AED per month
**FREE visa and residency cover for the teacher
**FREE medical cover for teacher, spouse and up to 3 children aged up to 18 years of age
**FREE flights cover for teacher, spouse and up to 3 children aged up to 18 years of age to and from your home country (on entry and exit only)
**Gratuity bonus
**A 2-year contract which is renewable on agreement
