Requirements:

Bachelor in Primary Education or PGCE in Primary

Knowledge of the Reggio Emilia approach is beneficial

Strong experience in the UK curriculum

Job description:
The teacher will be expected to actively participate in all staff meetings.
The teacher will be an enthusiastic practitioner and strong role model in demonstrating excellent early years practice.
At times it may be relevant to also participate or manage the training of students
Work cooperatively with the Senior Management Teams, of both the school and the childcare facility, to lead on school improvement.
Work with the Senior Management Team in planning for and carrying out staff observation and appraisal.
The teacher will be required to add a positive contribution to the planning and organization of the play-based curriculum, being aware of relevant county and
The teacher will be required to take on curriculum areas of responsibility to
enhance and extend our provision. In addition, they will be responsible for
monitoring key resources, participating in identifying areas requiring funding.
The role includes monitoring and reporting to the head teacher any issues relating to health and safety and ensuring staff is informed of incidents and procedures.
The responsibility also encompasses the implementation of regular fire drills.
The teacher has a responsibility to discuss any grievances immediately with the Headteacher.
