SeekTeachers is urgently seeking for a Founding Primary Principal to join their established team ASAP. The position is based in Gurugram, India and is a great opportunity for candidate to start up and lead the premier international school. He/she will shape and drive its success and responsible to effectively manage the school's people, processes and all aspects of the school.
The international school will open its door in August 2018 to cater children from aged 5 to 11 year old. The school is expecting to have approximately 80-100 children in it's first year and to expand each year. The school will follow the IBPYP programme
Requirements to apply:
- Bachelor degree and above in Education
- NPQH, principal license or equivalent
- Min of 10 years experience as a Primary Principal proven record of success in school leadership role
- Educational Management experience in International schools is desirable
- Excellent administration, organisational and resource management skills and value the importance of personal qualities, moral codes of behaviour, honesty, integrity, personal philosophy and self belief
- Available to start ASAP or Jan 2018 at the latest

Duties and responsibililities:
- Manage the organisation, operations, facilities and resource of the department
- Develop and administer policies that provide a secured school environment ready for learning
- Ties the daily operations of the school to school and student learning golas
- Identify and organise resources to achieve curricular and instructional goals
- Plan and schedule work so that resources are used appropriately and short and long terms priorities and goals are met
- Work closely with the IB Coordinator to facilitate resources for the program requirements
- Monitor application of policies and action plans to accomplish goals
- Use multiple sources of data to plan and assess instructional improvement
- Set high expectation and standards for the academic and social development of all students
- Demand content and instruction that ensure student achievement of established standards
- Provide instructional leadership with consideration for the community's values, goals, social needs and changing conditions
- Develop curriculum aligned to IB standards based upon teh needs of the students
- Create conditions that enhance the staff desire and willingness to focus energy on achieving educational excellence
