Requirements to Apply:
**Bachelors Degree in a related subject
**Native English speaking (Born and educated in country with native English speakers as first language)
**Valid Teaching qualification such as PGCE OR a Bachelor of Education in Mathematics
**Minimum of two years teaching experience post qualification
**Meet highly qualified definitions for IB teaching standards or A level Math
**Knowledgeable of effective teaching methodologies, assessment strategies, standards based instruction, and strong content knowledge
**Possess excellent interpersonal communication, collaboration, problem solving, decision making and relationship building skills
**Understand and can use Standards Based teaching and assessment practices in the classroom
**Is student centered in their delivery of instruction in the classroom,
**Understands the use of assessment data to design instruction that is differentiated based upon the individual and group instructional needs of students
**Uses technology to advance learning, manage information and deliver instruction effectively with students

Job Duties:
**Plan highly engaging lessons of Mathematics
**Teach and assess competencies in a range of business related areas
**Develop and share curriculum, teaching methods and resources
**Advise and assist students to develop their educational and career plans. Raise awareness of the facilities and support available
**Perform a range of administrative duties associated with teaching, learning and assessment.
**Ensure the observance of appropriate safety, health, welfare, security and good housekeeping standards
**Ensure the principles of equal opportunity in education and employment are applied to all staff and students.
**Provide advice and assistance to students, employers and members of the community and generally promote technical and further education and the Institute
**Be involved in and assist as required within the corporate life of the Institute meeting quality educational standards
**Differentiate to meet the needs of your learners
**Promote an enquiry based classroom
**Have excellent classroom management
**Make learning relative to student’s needs
**Attend Mathematics departmental meeting
