The school is located near Al Manaseer right across the road from the Zoo in Doha, Qatar.
Almaha used a Curriculum based on the National Curriculum of England and uses a Foundation-Stage KG1 and KG2, a Primary Stage Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, then a Secondary Stage Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Almaha also incorporates an Accelerated Reader Program, using the STAR Reading Test to assess the child’s level of reading skills. The school believes in teaching all of its students in Arabic, with an IGCSE in Arabic First or Second Language at the end of Key Stage 4. The school believes in providing a high quality educational program alongside Islamic moral values to produce students with strong leadership skills and an attitude towards developing the community. The school has a full Library, several Science Labs equipped for chemistry, physics and biology, ICT Labs equipped with state-of-the-art computer systems, sports facilities and outdoor play grounds, a prayer room, a swimming pool and a cafeteria.
