Shanghai Guanghua College Fudan Campus (SGC) is one of the OUTSTANDING Post 16 schools in the city. The school is situated at the north east of Shanghai and it is easy access to public transports ie bus stops and metro station are only within walking distance.
The school campus is within the university area and surrounded by all well-known universities in the city. It also has security gate and guards at the entrance, only students or anyone with permit will be allowed to enter. It provides students an excellent, quiet and safe learning environment.
The facilities in SGC is well facilitated include climate controlled classroom, library, science labs, computer labs, music room, art & design room, multi-purpose hall, gymnasium, tennis court, basketball courts, outdoor activity area, medical room, cafeteria and off-site dormitory.
There are 300 Chinese national students in 2012-2013 academic year. They are happy, discipline, hardworking and very eager to learn. The number of staff in the school is 35 which mixed with 50% expatriate teachers and 50% non-expatriate teachers. SGC follows Cambridge International Examination (CIE) syllabus from IGCSE to A’Level courses for student age ranging 15-18 years old.
SGC is very strong in its ethos and drive, and it has managed to mix Chinese cultures with Western teaching concepts.
