Our client is looking for an experienced Math teacher with a minimum of 2 years’ experience who is Western trained with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a teaching certification to teach the IB curriculum in a bilingual Arabic-English school . The school focuses on diversification and twenty first century teaching strategies and methods. The school is located in Dubai with an active student body of 800 students and an international diverse student body encompassing over 40 different nationalities. The school currently employs teachers from Canada, USA, UK, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
Job Description
**Designing and implementing math lessons using hands on activities, manipulatives, projects and collaborative learning methodologies
**Designing creative units of work that caters for all levels of learning included at risk students.
**Provide outstanding classroom and behavioral management in line with school policies
**Integrate ICT into ever lesson and encourage students to use ICT
**Administer, marking and level end of term tests as well as all formative assessments.
**Conducting parent-teacher interviews and provide constructive feedback and next steps
**Collaboratively write Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
**Modify work and assessment items to suit individual pupils through diversification
**Provide Small group teaching; numeracy and application of math levels
