Our client is a leading organisation in the United Arab Emirates that is looking to expand and so it is looking for a teacher of Chemistry to make create a bang in Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi is a the largest of the Emirates and this region is expanding fast with more schools on the rise. In addition the salaries in Abu Dhabi are better than that of Dubai.
 
Salary Package
***Up to 14,800 AED per month TAX FREE (approx £2400, $4100)
***FREE fully furnished accommodation with own toilet, bathroom, kitchen and lounge area
***FREE annual flights
***FREE visa and residency cover
***FREE medical cover
***FREE baggage allowance of 1800 AED (claimable on receipt)
***FREE utility allowance of up to 500 AED per month
***FREE tuition for 2 children
***Gratuity as per UAE labour law
***A 2 year contract that is renewable
 
The school heavily invests into teachers and pays for IB professional development. As a result the school is only keen to interview teachers that have worked in a school and been consistent and stable.  If you have done a lot of supply work this would not be a suitable role for you.
 
The school is located about 25 minutes from the centre of Abu Dhabi and is modern furnished with new equipment. The school is accredited by AdvancED and is on its way to being an IB world school. Teachers with IB curriculum experience of American AP curriculum experience are preferred due to the curriculums offered in the school but training is given if the school believes you are a strong candidate.
 
To apply you need:
***A Degree in Science or chemistry or equivalent
***A minimum of 2 years teaching experience as per the Abu Dhabi Edcuation Council standards
***Be a native speaker of English with high command of written and oral language
***Qualifications need to be from a western country
***Have working knowledge of embeddeding ICT into your teaching
***Be culturally sentitive to the needs of Emirati students and Middle East culture

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 12000 up to 14800   AED (UAE Dirham) per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
