Male Social Studies teacher
IB Curriculum School in Abu Dhabi
 
Requirements:
Degree in History/Geography or Social Studies
Must have a full teaching license
Minimum of two years teaching experience
IB Curriculum experience is highly preferred
Working overseas is recommended
Career must be consistent
 
The client has come to SeekTeachers to find a teacher with the ability to deliver both Humanities and social studies to Middle School students. The candidate must have experience of working with Middle school and highly preferred if they have previously taught high school students also.
 
As a leading organisation in the Middle East you will need to ensure you are a specialist in your specific area. The school has an outstanding reputation in Abu Dhabi and surrounding areas as one of the top educational schools. With around 6000 students in total and this number continuing to grow the school is looking to open another campus in coming years.
 
The school currently has three highly facilitated schools in Abu Dhabi and al Ain. Two of the campuses are in Abu Dhabi one located in Central Abu Dhabi and one in Mohammed Bin Zyed. The other location of the campus is in Al Ain directly in the centre.
 
IB Humanities Teacher:
**Applicants should be able to deliver a top education and have experience of delivering the IB Curriculum
**The teacher should have a variety of skills that she can offer to the students
**You should be able to vary your teaching styles to meet the needs of different individual students
**All equipment in the classroom should be used to engage the students in the lesson and keep them motivated about learning
**You should be able to clearly set objectives to the children and ensure that they meet your predictions
**You should ensure you are assessing the development made by the students and keep in contact with the parents of the children so they are aware of the student’s progression
**You should ensure that you are meeting needs of all pupils and make sure they are all being challenged

Salary Range:
A salary from 12000 up to 14850  AED (UAE Dirham) per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
