Are you a male English teacher that has a degree in English Language or Literature with at least 2 years teaching experience?

If so we are looking for a teacher to join a well-established school and gain experience of the International Baccalaureate, then you need to hit the "Apply Now"
 
Teacher of English Job Duties:
**Plan lessons as per the IB MYP and IB DP English curriculum
**Make lessons fun, engaging and relevant to your students
**Adapt your teaching style to meet the needs of your students
**Be a good role model and teach them the importance of understanding and using English
**Use technology in the classroom to enhance the teaching and learning of English
**Be culturally aware
**Create resources and use innovative ways of teaching English
**Be a team player
**Report to the MYP Coordinator and the Head of Secondary
**Take part in staff meetings
**Promote students work in the class and around the school
**Have good classroom management skills
**Observe other English lessons to ensure your teaching level is in line with others in the department
 
The school campus is located about 20 minutes from the centre of Al Ain and is located in a growing and developing area. It is part of 3 campuses that is governed under the Al Ain Education Council framework. Teachers come from a variety of backgrounds but are native speakers of English and western trained. The majority of the students here are of Emirati background so if you have experience of teaching Arabic students it will be beneficial for your application.
 
We are looking for teachers that have a stable track record with little movement on their CV and have shown commitment on their CV. The school is well resourced but we recommend bringing your own resources to ensure that you have a smoother transition into the role. Students have already started and the induction programme has already been done so you need to be someone that can hit the ground running and play catch up when needed. You will be provided support once you arrive at the school.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered
Prefer candidates with international experience

**Experience of the IB Curriculum is beneficial but not essential as training will be given
**Experience of IB or TOK is preferred

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 12000 up to 14800   AED (UAE Dirham) per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE

500AED per month
Baggage Allowance:
