Manager of Montessori Job Duties:
**Help with the set up and launch of this new nursery
**Have experience in purchasing stock
**Experience of managing nursery budget
**Be able to carry out timetabling for staff
**Be involved in recruitment and retention of staff
**Plan, review and further develop all policies and procedures
**Be responsible for overall staff and student data
**Achieve and maintain a high standard of care and education
**Carry out staff observations to ensure that teachers are working to the appropriate level
**Be personable and build good relationships with parents and children
**To ensure that the planned Montessori curriculum is delivered effectively with high standards
**To be aware of current early childhood thinking/trends
**TO manage day-to-day operations of the Montessori
**To implement an effective parent liaison programme, to be influential in developing strong links with parents
**Work closely with the owner to ensure the nursery is meeting standards
**Work to close deadlines and targets set up by the owner
**To carry out staff training and INSET's to ensure teachers are being further developed
**Promote the philosophy of Maria Montessori throughout the nursery
**Ideally have experience of delivering a bilingual curriculum either French and/or Arabic
**Create a marketing plan to deploy and develop the nursery reputation in the area
**Have good experience of Jolly Phonics and create a safe and positive working environment for students to work
Based on a private and exclusive island we are looking for someone with an EXCELLENT track record for raising attainment and able to hit KPI's. The Director of the nursery is working towards making the company the leading Early Years Company in the Middle East and they are going from strength to strength. The nursery is purpose built and has a capacity of 200 students, most of which will be from wealthy local Arab families. The nursery will have the very best facilities as this is set to be the flagship Montessori in the whole of Abu Dhabi.
To apply you will need:
**A degree in Early Childhood
**A recognised Montessori Diploma or Certificate
**A masters in Early Childhood
**At least 3-5 years of management experience
**Be a native speaker of English
The ideal candidate will need to be available in January at the latest although if you are available sooner than this would work in your advantage to assist with pre-launch of the nursery and assist in the development before the nursery is fully open to students and parents.
