Our client is a private primary & secondary international school in Malaysia is now looking for a flexible, energetic and patient Humanities teacher to join the team. This school follows the British National Curriculum for students from Year 1 to Year 11.
Job duties:
**Plan lessons and coursework in accordance with the syllabus
**Ensure teaching resources are up-to-date
**Assess student learning development and ensure the school and parents are aware of it
**Set challenging tasks for students according to their abilities
**Listen to students, advise them and give positive directions
**Supervise students in all activities within the school or field trips
**Be a role model and set a good example to student
**Carry out any other reasonable duties given by the head
Modern and advanced facilities are provided for both students and staff, including air conditioned classrooms, Wi-Fi access within the campus, interactive whiteboard, libraries, ICT labs, science labs, music centre, art and design centre, swimming pool, tennis courts, football field, prayer room and cafeteria.
The teaching hour consists of 35-40 hours a week, 5 days a week and staff get approximately 6-8 weeks paid holiday per annum.
