Our client is recruiting for a primary teacher to join their campus based in the warm and friendly Kuala Lumpur . The school follows the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IBPYP) and currently has over 300 students enrolled. Almost 80% of the students are from the local families and the remaining of them are expatriates. The school is situated 20 minute drive away from the Petaling Street and is located in a commercial area where large shopping complex, supermarkets and cinemas can be found nearby. 
 
The school is equipped with wide range of facilities such as air
conditioned classrooms, swimming pool, athletic tracks, tennis courts, library, multi-purpose hall, science lab and computer lab. Most of the school staff are expatriates with only a 10% of them are from the local. Students are hardworking and very keen to learn in this school. 
 
You will be expect to carry out the following duties:
 
**Deliver the IBPYP curriculum
**Ensure students understand the lessons
**Set homework and coursework for students 
**Set and mark student exam 
**Reward student appropriately to motivate them 
**Be a role model to the students   
**Able to use interactive white board 
**Work closely with other staff in the school 
**Help organise school activities or meetings

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
2 Years
Type of Staff:
Male or Female can apply to this job
Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 7,000 up to 9,000  MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of RM1,500   MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) provided

State/Public medical provided
