To be considered for the position, you will need the meet the following requirements:
 
- Bachelor degree in Humanities or equivalent
- A fully qualified teacher wiht PGCE History or equivalent
- Have relevant experience in teaching KS3/4 and be confident with the curriculum
- An English native speaker
- Be able to provide evidence of raising attainment
 
The international school follows the English National Curriculum for both of their Primary and Secondary schools. The international school currently has over 500 students from 20 different nationalities across 6 continents. The students are well-motivated and want to learn.

There is over 50 teaching staff in the whole school. You will be part of a dedicated team of teachers, who are friendly and supportive to with.
 
Job specifications:

**Plan and prepare courses and lessons;
**Teach students according to their educational needs;
**Provide guidance and advice to students on educational and social matters;
**Communicate and consult with the parents
**Participate in the staff development scheme;
**Review teaching methods from time to time;
** Assess, record and report of the student's development
**Co-ordinate or manage the work of other teachers

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 8,000 up to 10,000  MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) per month based on experience and qualification, 20% Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of RM1,500  MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) provided

State/Public medical provided
