Teaching vacancy in Abu Dhabi
Female IB Science Teacher
 
Our client is situated in the heart of Abu Dhabi and is looking for an experienced IB Science teacher to deliver the International Baccalaureate Curriculum to local Emirati students. The ideal candidate should have the below qualifications to meet the requirements set by the school:
MUST Have a degree in Science plus and FULL teaching certification
MUST have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience within Science
MUST be qualified from a western country
Experience of working in the Middle East would be highly preferred
IB Curriculum experience is mandatory
 
The school was established by local Emirati gentlemen with an ambition to increase the level of awareness that the IB curriculum can inflict on local Arabic students lives. The school’s reputation has rocketed since its first year of opening as people began to realise exactly what difference it can make. Since the opening off the first campuses they have now opened an additional two campuses in the local area also.
 
All together there is a total of 5000 students within the 3 campuses and around 500 teachers. All teachers are very qualified to fulfil their roles and have helped the school become a leading education specialist in Abu Dhabi. Majority of the teachers are from a western background and most of them before arriving had IB experience. The school also offers a weekly IB training course for any teachers who wish to improve their teaching abilities.
 
Teacher of IB Science Responsibilities:
**Ensure that you are planning lessons before execution
**Provide your students with a good role model to inspire to
**Work with all teachers in the science department to ensure there is a good working environment
**Willing to attend any development programmes which will enhance your understanding of the IB curriculum
**You should ensure that you are differentiating the needs of each student and provide them with the best materials to learn accordingly
**Set home work on a regular basis so you can clearly see where progression has been made throughout the year

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
2 Years
Type of Staff:
Male or Female can apply to this job
Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Additional:
**Your degree should ideally be in line with your teaching subject
**Singles or teaching couples preferred with no children

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 12000 up to 14850  AED (UAE Dirham) per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
