On behalf of our client in Bahrain, SeekTeachers our looking for a female humanities teacher with the ambition to make a difference to international students. The candidate should have a minimum of two years’ experience plus a minimum of a degree in their specialist subject and a PGCE. The candidate would be preferred if they had experience of the English curriculum but this is not essential. If the candidate had international experience this would also go in their favour. All candidates must be an enthusiastic and energetic person and provide the children with a positive role model to look up to.
 
Details of the international school
The school is an all-girls school in a very cultural part of the Middle East. The school was developed in the early 2000's by the local government to provide local young girls with the opportunity to travel the world with their educational skills gained. Since the opening of this amazing school there has been a massive demand of students wanting to attend. Every year the school currently receives over 500 applicants of local students wanting to learn more about the English culture.
 
The school has very basic facilities but still manages to receive some of the best examination results in the whole of the Bahrain region. Some of the classrooms do have interactive whiteboards and ICT equipment. The majority of the students prefer to lean the old way with books from the schools very large library. They also do offer very few sporting activities for the girls such as netball but this is not a priority to the management.
 
Teacher duties:
**Happy to assist other teachers and work as part of a team
**The ability to differentiate the students by their skills and set work accordingly
**Capable of communicating to students varying from all around the world
**Able to set a positive classroom atmosphere for the students to feel comfortable to work in
**Willing to help with the setting up of school events
**Attend weekly meetings held by your head of department
