A Level/IBDP English Teacher Needed

Seekteachers is currently looking for an A Level/IBDP English teacher for an established private British school in Cairo, the capital city of Egypt. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, positive and dynamic with strong English literature teaching background.
You will be expected to carry out the following job duties:
*Implement A Level/IBDP curriculum along with school guidelines
*Make use of textbooks, ICT and other learning resources in an appropriate way
*Monitor students learning progress report appropriately to the department head
*Set appropriate challenges for students according to their abilities
*Work closely with other staff in the relevant department
*Carry out any other reasonable duties given by the Head
*Be a good team player and create a pleasant working environment for other staff
*Ensure the teaching resources/materials are up-to-date
The school offers British National Curriculum up to Key Stage 5 for student. Students in the school also have options to do the IBDP programme after the end of Key Stage 4 if they wish to change the curriculum. The student population in the school is 1200 at present. 70% of the students are from the local Egyptian families and 30% expatriates. The students are ranging from 5-18 years of age. The teachers' population is mainly expatriates with over 40 different nationalities.
The school is well facilitated include science labs, computer labs, music room, art & design room, air-conditioned classroooms with access to interactive white boards, huge sport hall, outdoor swimming pool, running track, football pitch, gymnasium, play area, basketball court and adventure playground.
Cairo is an ancient city with thousand years of history. The city has a warm climate all year-round, fine sands deserts, wealth of ancient sites that full of mysteries made it as a good destination for work. The living costs in the city is low and offers many worth visiting places such as the ancient piramids, The Sphinx, Tutankhmun's burial treasures and many more. Eating in Egypt also comes in cheap with the options from street food to expensive restaurants. Kebabs, falafel, grilled corn and koshary are among the common food in Egypt.
