In 2005, the school offered the IBDP curriculum but since is now transition to a UK set up offering the National Curriculum of England and Wales. The IBDP will be phased out end of 2013 so it offers a full UK curriculum like many of the schools in Qatar.
The school is well equipped, with an Olympic size swimming pool and sports facilities as well as having many affiliations with Sporting Centres in the region. As the school is in a transition period, it aims to offer world class UK curriculum to its students to be one of the best in the region.
Qatar has famously won its bid for the FiFA football world cup 2022, bringing great commercial benefits to the region. Qatar has also launched a bid for the 2020 Olympics showing their confidence and ability to host the world’s biggest events brining multiple nations and backgrounds. With the influx of expatriates supporting the networks for businesses the need for International schools for their children has massively grown. Thus there is currently a demand for UK trained, qualified and experienced teachers to join this expanding number of international schools.
