Our client is a British private international school based in central Doha, Qatar. It delivers education using the CIE and EdExcel board and is also an IB accredited school. The school have successfully delivered an integrated IB structure for 2 years now and it has delivered a wonderful change into the atmosphere and the learning attitude of the children In turn this provided a great base for the teachers to revisit their planning and teaching skills to ensure students are developing with the work that they are delivering and not just learning the facts.
 
Mathematics Teaching Duties:
**You will need to ensure you can build a relationship with the students to make sure they are comfortable
**Work with teachers to ensure safety and education needs are always monitored
**Ensure students are meeting predicted grades, if not work out their weaknesses and improve on them
**You should be able to adapt to new surroundings and cultures quickly
**Ensure students are aware of procedures set by the school and they are following them
**Set and mark assessments and examination to develop the students’ abilities
**Willing to assist with after school clubs

The school has a great understanding that it must not only cater for the general need of the students learning but must also recognise the needs of the individual pupil also. Providing the best possible support and educating techniques to ensure that everything is done for the student to understand the work and not just memorise it for the exam.

There are currently 2000 children at the school from over 30 nationalities. The boys and girls at the school are aged from 3 through to 16 and are divided in the normal UK structure of Early Years through to A-Level. Although English is a second language to most of the students it is school policy that English is spoken at all times throughout the school by all members of staff.

The teachers are provided with excellent accommodation with all facilities that you will need to enjoy life after work. They often arrange team days out and team building exercises as many of the teachers renew their contracts at this school.
