School Information
This school has 550 enthusiastic students all wanting to receive the best of the English Curriculum. The teachers in the school all have experience in the specialist subject and are good role models to the children. Most of the teachers are from western countries but there is around 10% Zambian. The furniture in the school is all very modern and fairly new. The school was redecorated about 3 years ago to ensure that students can feel comfortable in their surroundings.

All classrooms have an interactive white board and computers to allow teachers to vary there teaching styles and consistently challenge the students. The school does have separate buildings for certain subjects such as music and art.

The school delivers the English curriculum to all key stage levels from 1-4. Around 50% of these students are native Zambian but the school does have a massive international student group. The school has lots that keep children active and challenged and some are listed:

Zambia is one of the most popular African countries as it has a developing economic system that has been confirmed as one of the fastest growing in the world. The country has around 2 million expatriate visitors per year and this number is slowly increasing. The weather is amazing and same with their cities. The capital is Lusaka which is the biggest city in Zambia and currently has the highest popularity.  Our client is looking for an English Teacher to start January 2013.

Teacher Responsibilities
**Maintain a good classroom order and ensure students are following the school policies
**Continuously asses the students to ensure you know the level of their abilities
**Provide the children with engaging lessons
**Ensure you are using the equipment provided by the management
**Provide the children with a good role model and inspire them to do well in school
**Summarily asses’ students to see whether they are improving
**Make sure you work as a team with colleagues to provide a safe environment in the school

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
2 Years
Type of Staff:
Male or Female can apply to this job
Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Additional:
**Your degree should ideally be in line with your teaching subject
**Singles or teaching couples preferred with no children

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 2200 up to 2400   GBP (British Pound) per month based on experience and qualification, 30 % Tax is applied
