**Chemistry teacher**
**China Teaching Job**
**August 2014 start**

 
An experienced and committed Chemistry teacher is required by our client in China.  The successful candidate must hold a Bachelor degree in Chemistry minimum 2:1 or above, teaching qualification Teaching (PGCE/PGDE/QTS/GDT/Teaching License) with minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Chemistry, native or excellent fluent English speaker, flexible and easy to adapt to new culture.
 
This private Post 16 school follows UK national curriculum for students from IGCSE to A'Level, to ensure students be able to fit into the global universities.  There are 400 students in the school and they are all local Chinese students, hardworking and discipline.  There are also 40 staff composed of 60% expatriate teachers and 40% non-expatriate teachers.
 
The school campus is located in the university area which also provides students a quiet and comfortable learning environment.  The facilities include library, computer lab, science labs, music room, art & design room, multi-purposed hall, basketball court, tennis court, football field, gymnasium, canteen, medical room and off-site dormitory for students.
 
Job descriptions:
 
**Plan, prepare and deliver lessons to students in Chemistry
**Monitor, assess and record pupils’ learning progress
**Supervise and assist pupils’ laboratory activities
**Set up and mark homework, lab work and exams
**Set clear target to students in different grade
**Ensure the syllabus is up to date
**Participate in parents meeting and ensure parents are aware their child’s progress
**Participate in school and department meetings

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 16,000 up to 23,000  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
