Description

Based in the heart of the kingdom of Bahrain our client is a highly reputed international school. It is a non-profit organisation which endeavours to provide the best international education based on the UK national curriculum for local children as well as expat. 1800 Children from the age of 3-18 are divided into Kg, Primary and Secondary. Students based at this school have a great understanding of cultures and social behaviours as the school has over 60 nationalities attending. To teach these wonderful students the teachers are all qualified with relevant experience of the UK National Curriculum from countries such as the UK, USA, Australia and New-Zealand. Not all teachers are expat as the school encourages local teachers to join their team and learn new skills from their expat colleagues. Teacher training for teachers is a great focus as elements of IB are now being introduced.

The school is a purposed built campus with facilities to accommodate the students across the curriculum and social elements. An impressive reception area with Arabian décor, newly furnished classrooms, interactive white boards, projectors, IT labs, Media rooms (Mac equipped), 3 cafeterias, 2 sports halls, 3 playgrounds and 1 kg playground equipped with interactive activities and a swimming pool.

Bahrain is a very liberal country compared to neighbouring countries. Bars and clubs exist and come the weekend the country is has a buzzing environment. Whether your shopping or having a meal, people are friendly and you will find many expats in this small island which is only 10 minutes flight time from Doha and about 1 hour from the United Arab Emirates.

On the weekends many Arabs from surrounding countries come to Bahrain to relax and unwind. If you are looking to teach in gulf country where the laws are a lot more relaxed, Bahrain is the place to be. Earn TAX FREE income with benefits and enjoy the lifestyle of the relaxed state! Highly recommended!
