Secondary chemistry teacher
Teach science in the Middle East
Work as part of the government schools
On behalf of our client SeekTeachers are currently on the hunt for specialist chemistry teachers to travel out to the Middle East and teach chemistry to 14-18 year olds. The ideal candidate should have all of the below qualifications to qualify for this role:
A minimum of three years teaching experience
Degree must be in chemistry
Must have a full teaching license
Western trained and experienced
Native speaker of English
Must be able to incorporate a variety of facilities in to your lessons
Our client is considered one of the leading organisations in the world and currently enrols a total of over 5000 students. All of the students attending this amazing institute are local Emirati from a wealthy background. With regards to the teachers majority of them are native English speakers but there is a small amount of international teachers.
This school has by far the best facilities in the Middle East to help engage the students and continuously motivate them towards education. This includes ICT facilities for all students, interactive whiteboards and amazing fitness equipment. The science labs have all necessary equipment include various experiment resources.
Chemistry teacher duties:
**You should be able to communicate well to all ages of children varying from 11-18
**You will need to ensure that your students are comfortable in their surroundings which means the classroom environment should be relevant to the lessons being taught
**You should provide the children with an energetic and enthusiastic mathematics teacher that has a good knowledge background of mathematics
**You will be required to assess your students on a daily, weekly and yearly basis’s so you have a clear tracking sheet on improvement made by each individual
**You will be required to ensure that all of the parents of the students are clear on the student’s development throughout the year
**You should be able to differentiate the students’ abilities and set work accordingly
**You will be required to set and mark homework and coursework

M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Additional:
**Your degree should ideally be in line with your teaching subject
**Singles or teaching couples preferred with no children
Remuneration Package
Salary Range:
A salary from 11000 up to 14000
AED (UAE Dirham) per month
based on experience and qualification,
