SeekTeachers is currently recruiting for a pre-school teacher on behalf of our client in Singapore. This is a permanent position with a starting date in January 2014.
The international school delivers the Australian curriculum for students from pre-school to year 6. The curriculum is specially designed to help students to strive for academic excellence and to reach their potential. The school is currently looking for a pre-school teacher who has the ability to lead a pre-school class, implementing best practice in early childhood and creating a caring environment for the students.
As a pre-school teacher, it is your duties to report directly to the lead teacher and Head of Early Years and will work together wIth all members of the pre-school team. You will be responsible for the day to day operation of the pre-school classes and incorporating ICT into classroom practice in a developmentally appropriate manner. You need to ensure that each student's development is monitored and differentiating learning according to the students' abilities.
In order to apply, you must meet the following requirements:
**Bachelor degree in Early Childhood or relevant subject
**Teaching qualification such as PGCE/Teaching Diploma
**Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Early Childhood
**English native speaker
**Experience working with ESL students is beneficial
