On behalf of our client, SeekTeachers are searching for a strong Mathematics teacher to deliver the UK National Curriculum of England and Wales to GCSE and A level students.
Teach in Al Ain
This school is one of the most established schools in Al Ain and has a larger expatriate community of students in this schools. Teachers are mainly from the UK and teaching is done in English. The school will ensure that all teachers and students have the best facilities possible to ensure they have the right resources to gain new skills and achieve good results. Majority of the classrooms have information technology inside to make the classes being taught more engaging for the students. All classrooms also have interactive whiteboards in which teachers can use to view video and motivate the students.
The client was built around a decade ago by the local government to ensure that the local Arabic students have the variety of different curriculums to choose from. The school has escalated to becoming one of the top schools in the UAE and is still growing fast. The school caters for around 30 different nationalities but the most dominant is Arabic. Currently around 1000 students attend this amazing international school. All teachers working at school are fully qualified and specialist in delivering their specific subject. Currently the school has around 150 teacher’s majority being international but management have ensured the students have Arabic teachers to support them if they are struggling.
All applicants must be fully qualified and have great communication skills. The candidate will be required to deliver the following responsibilities:
**You will be required to attend a weekly meeting held by the head of department
**You should ensure you are supporting your colleagues and ensure there is always a positive attitude in the classroom
**You will be required to motivate the students to continuously study and push to achieve the best results
**Ensure that the lessons being taught are productive and useful to the students and that work is always set the students’ abilities
**Ensure that your classroom has a good setting and is relevant to the subject being taught
**Always provide the children with a strong leader and maintain a positive attitude at all times
