Information about Bahrain
Bahrain is a small island about 10 minutes from Qatar and about 50 minutes from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Bahrain is its own little island which has a bridge that leads on to Saudi Arabia which is around a 2 hour drive from UAE. There are regular flight service that travels in and out of the UAE in all of the 7 states to Bahrain. Bahrain as a country is considered the party haven of the gulf, as it has plenty of bars, karaoke nights and clubs.

The school is considered one of the top schools in Bahrain delivering the English curriculum. The school has also recently been accredited by the International Baccalaureate Organisation and the Council of International Schools.. The school will ensure that the child will be challenged throughout their time in the school. The children ages range from 3 up to 18. The most popular nationality within the school is Arabic but there are also around 200 international students. The children all get on well and work extremely well together.  
 
The school is offering a very competitive salary and package which includes the below:
Competitive Salary from 800BHD to 1400BHD per month based on experience and qualifications). There is 1 % tax as per Bahraini Labour Law
Economy air fare from point to point origin - Reimbursed upon arrival.
Paid Summer leave for approximately 65 consecutive days
Excursion air fare to and from point of origin for summer leave
Housing Allowance of 450 BHD
Baggage allowance is 150 BHD
Settling in allowance is 150 BHD
30% off of tuition fees for girls only
2 year contract which is renewable on mutual agreement
 
Teacher requirements:
Strong knowledge of ICT
Experience of using a VLE
Experience of using an interactive whiteboard.
Specialist in web design, Photoshop and some basic programming
Produce an engaging lesson that involves all children with different abilities
Use the equipment in the classroom to vary the teaching and learning to motivate your pupils
Continue to set homework and coursework to assess your student’s progression
Build up relationships with the parents and students to ensure that the child’s experience in the school is as enjoyable as possible
