Description

Qatar is the first Arab nation to host the football world cup in 2022, with some amazing planned stadiums and facilities for visitors. The economy is growing at a rapid rate when others worldwide are declining. The Qatar government's investment arm has made some mind boggling investments in the past few years both internationally and nationally. The most famous at the moment are the investments in London, the purchase of Harrods and now with expansion plans to open Harrods Hotels across the world. The shard is the tallest building in Europe built in London but funded by Qatar and now Heathrow airport and the olympic park also.

No wonder people are starting to call London "LonDoha".
