Our client is hiring for a Secondary Physics teacher to join them in Malaysia for the August 2013 start. The ideal candidate is expected to teach Physics for both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students in the school. The school is located in Kuala Lumpur and is only 20 minutes from Putrajaya, the federal administrative centre of Malaysia. The school currently has about 400 students aged from 12-18 year old.
The international school follows the Cambridge International Curriculum. There are over 40 school staff in the school. More than half of the teaching staff are all western trained or come from an English speaking country. The school has an English speaking environment and friendly staff, therefore, adapting in the school wouldn't be difficult for you.
The school has a large campus which provides students a clean, quiet and safe learning environment. The facilities are well equipped include air conditioned classrooms, interactive whiteboard, libraries, science labs, ICT labs, art & design room, music room, football fields, basketball fields, tennis courts, gymnasium, athletic tracks, swimming pool, prayer rooms, medical room and cafeteria.
Job specifications:
**Carry out Physics lesson in secondary level and meet the needs of all students through differentiation of tasks
**Use different teaching strategies to deliver lesson and observe student learning development
**Work with student of various abilities
**Make use of textbooks, ICT and other learning resources in an appropriate way
**Carry out any other reasonable duties given by the Head
**Establishes a positive relationship with parents of the students
**Assist and supervise students on all laboratory activities
**Coordinate the preparation of all test and mark schemes in Physics
