SeekTeachers is seeking an experienced and dynamic Biology teacher to be based in the modern and beautiful Kuala Lumpur. The school has a charming and quiet surrounding. The school consists of 3 large 5 storey blocks and provides excellent facilities such as air-conditioned controlled classrooms, ICT lab, Science lab, music room, gymnasium, badminton hall, basketball court, tennis court, indoor swimming pool and cafeteria. The school is situated on the west of Kuala Lumpur and is only 20 minutes drive from the KLCC (Petronas Twin Tower) shopping complex.
There are currently over 500 students enrolled in the school aged between 11-18 year old. The students consists of 90% local students and 10% expatriates. The school staff are made up of 60% expatriates from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand while the remaining 40% are non-expatriates.
Job duties and responsibilities:
**Ensure all classes are taught according to the curriculum and examination syllabus
**Apply different teaching methods to ensure the lesson is fun, exciting and interesting
**Provide guidance and advice to students when they face difficulties
**Establish a positive relationship with parents of the
**Supervise students and ensure their safety during school activities and trips
**Be able to work with student of various abilities
**Register student’s attendances
**Set different challenges and tasks for students according to their abilities
