Our client is an established private international school located only 40 minutes away from the Petronas Twin Towers. The school follows the UK Curriculum and offers educational service from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 5. We are currently recruiting for a Physical Education (PE) teacher that meets our client's requirements to start in August 2013. If you have a minimum of 3 years teaching experience, have a strong PE background and would like to teach abroad, grab this opportunity fast!
Our client is located in the north of Kuala Lumpur approximately 30 minute drive from the Kuala Lumpur tower. The school has a large campus which provides students a clean, quiet and safe learning environment. The school is well equipped with air conditioned classrooms, interactive whiteboard, science and ICT labs, art & design room, library, tennis and basketball courts, outdoor swimming pool, prayer room and canteen.
The school has over 800 students aged from 5-18 at present. Up to 90% of the students are locals with the remaining 10% is from countries like UK, Canada, Australia, Singapore and China. The school however consists of majority expatriates coming from UK, USA, New Zealand, Australia and Canada. Only 10% of the staff are from the local. Most of the students in the school are bilingual and speak both English and Chinese language.
Duties and Responsibility:
**Develop understanding of the relationship of good body function and exercise
**Introduce balance diet and nutritious balance meals
**Discover and develop talents of students in physical achievement
**Ensure equipment is safe and followed the health and safety regulations
**Give clear instruction to students when using the equipment
**Monitor student closely when carry out lessons to avoid injuries
**Be a good team player and create good working environment for your colleagues
**Attend department, school and parent meetings
