Year 7 Teaching Job - Key Stage 3

We are looking for a qualified an experienced candidate that has the ability to adapt to working in the Middle East or already has experience of working with Arabic students.
Your duties will include:
***Teaching local Qatari and expatriate students, with a focus on English, Maths and Science at Key Stage 3
**Teacher well differentiated lessons to meet the needs of students
***Adapt lessons to ensure students that don't speak English as a second language are able to comprehend
***Ensure that grades of students are kept up to date through a digital markbook and the schools content management system
***Create engaging wall displays to promote teaching and learning
***Assist in afterschool club
***Work closely with a Teaching Assistant
***Plan for school trips
***Ensure lessons cater for cross curricular teaching
***Create a safe learning environment
***Ensure lessons promote, respect and positive values in and out of school
***Be able to use Information Technology in your lessons
***Be able to use an interactive whiteboard or projector
The school is a member of the BSME and is accredited by the International Baccalaureate Organisation and the Council of International Schools. Students are friendly and keen to learn. A firm but fair approach with the students is needed and understanding the Arabic culture to ensure there is a high level of classroom management is necessary. Families are welcome to apply or single teachers with no dependants.
Teachers reviewing this job should be able to attend interviews in London 21st and 22nd. Skype interviews will only take place after the London interviews are done.
