Job descriptions:

Contributing to the excellence of teaching and learning across the Key Stage 1 & 2

Plan, prepare and deliver lessons

Monitor, record and assess pupils’ progress

Develop in each student an understanding of the relationship of good body function and exercise

Motivate each student to cultivate physical fitness and good social and emotional adjustment

Discover and develop talents of students in physical achievement

Ensure updated subject development

Ensure equipment is checked and safe to use and safety instruction has been provided to students

Participate in continuous professional development activities

Participate in parents meeting and ensure parent aware their child’s learning progress

Participate in school or department meetings
This private international school is located only 20 minutes away from the Kuala Lumpur international airport and it is also about 40 minutes from the capital. The school has a large gated campus which provides students a clean, quiet and safe learning environment. The facilities are well equipped include air conditioned classrooms, interactive whiteboard, libraries, science labs, ICT labs, art & design room, music room, football fields, basketball fields, tennis courts, gymnasium, athletic tracks, swimming pool, prayer rooms, medical room and cafeteria.
The school follows British national curriculum from Year 1 to Year 11 and currently there are 500 students aged 5-16 with majority local Malaysian students and only 20% expatriate students. There are also 50 staff in the whole school composed of 80% expatriate teachers and 20% non-expatriate teachers. All teachers are highly trained and with years of experience in UK curriculum. Professional development is provided to all staff to ensure their success and promote high quality of learning.

Qualification:

M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Type of Staff:

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted
Additional:
**MUST be 27 years old or above in order to apply work visa**
Remuneration Package
Salary Range:
A salary from 6500 up to 8500
MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) per month
based on experience and qualification,
3-8 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of 1500 MYR per month
