**Pre-school Coordinator**
**Teaching Job in China**
A new school in the capital of Hunan Province is currently hiring a Pre-school Coordinator to join the team. This is a brand new school under one of the big international educational groups in China, and this particular branch will be opening in February 2013. The school campus has been completed and has space for maximum of 11 classes. It is expected to begin with 1-2 classes and the school is very likely to grow rapidly in the future.
This international Early Years school is located in a new housing development, where numbers of international business nearby with a growing expatriate population. The area has new apartment blocks, shops, supermarkets, restaurants and wide range of other facilities too, plus a great deal of effort has been taken by the developers to cater for international families.
Job duties:

Support and coordinate the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of effective and efficient kindergarten programs and professional development opportunities

Provide direction, mentoring and support to KG teachers and assistants in regard to the effective operation and provision of high quality KG programmes

Plan, prepare and deliver lessons to students from 2 to 6 years of age

Organise and participate in staff meetings and training sessions

Provide date for performance monitoring and monthly reports

Be able to multi-tasking

Responsive to range of situations

Be flexible and adaptable to new environment
Hunan is in the south central part of China which also next to many big cities eg Hubei, Guangdong, Chongqing, Jiangxi. Weather in Hunan is subtropical and humid, the average temperature during summer is about 28-32’C and about 4-10’C in winter. In the capital of Hunan Province, Changsha has a well-connected transportation network, ie the largest and excellent facilitated international airport within the province and it’s also one of the busiest airports in China too; from Changsha to Shanghai takes only 8 hours via high speed bullet train. People in Changsha enjoy the nightlife, as you can find many restaurants, foot spas, pubs and karaoke in the city.

M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Type of Staff:

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted
Remuneration Package
Salary Range:
A salary from 14000 up to 20000
CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month
based on experience and qualification,
15-20 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of 2000 CNY per month
CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) provided
