**PYP Teacher**

Our client in the capital of China is seeking a dynamics and enthusiastic Primary Teacher with IB trained to join their well-established team. This is one of the biggest IB world schools in the city offers Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) for students from kindergarten to Grade 12 aged 3-18.
 
The school is currently catering for 2300 students and majority are local Chinese students and about 20% expatriate students from more than 20 different countries. This school is located at the suburb of the city which provides a clean and quiet learning environment for students.
 
The school has a large campus with excellent facilities, such as equestrian field, football field, rugby field, basketball courts, tennis courts, gymnasium, golf driving range, ten pin bowling, 25m indoor heated swimming pool, 400m athletic tracks, cafeteria and fully furnished residential blocks for both boarders and staff.
 
There are more than 200 staff in the whole school composed of 70% expatriate teachers and 30% non-expatriate teachers. Continuing professional development is provided to ensure staff success and promotion of high quality of teaching and learning. The work hour consists of 30-35 hours Monday to Friday, and teachers normally have 6-8 weeks holiday.
 
The role:
 
*Plan, prepare and deliver lesson within IB ethos
*Monitor, assess and record students’ learning progress
*Communicate with parents and ensure they are aware their child learning development and progress
*Maintain classroom discipline
*Participate in parents meeting
*Participate in department meeting
*Assist and supervise students in all activities
 
Beijing is the capital of China is one of the metropolis cities in the country. The city has both ancient historic architects and modern beautiful buildings. The Great Wall, Forbidden City, Olympics Bird's Nest and Olympics Aqua Stadium are the famous attractions. The Chinese said "Who has never been to the Great Wall is not a real man". Chinese food, the famous Peking dish crispy skin roast duck is one of the reasons why people come to visit Beijing. International cuisines are also available. Beijing has a large expat community and it is very easy to meet new people and make friends.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
3 Years
Type of Staff:

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted
Additional:
**IB experience is essential

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 16000 up to 24000   CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month based on experience and qualification, 15-20 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Based on application  fully furnished Housing provided
Medical:
State/Public medical provided
Flights:
8000 (Reimburse upon arrival)  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) Allowance is provided
Bereavement Leave:
