Teaching Job in Malaysia

 
A popular private international kindergarten is recruiting a fun, patient and caring qualified Early Years Teacher to join their team. There are 150 students enrolled in 2012-2013 composed of 20% expatriate students and 80% non-expatriate students. The staff is also mixed with 70% composed of expatriates and 30% non-expatriates.
 
This kindergarten is located in the city centre, the facilities include climate controlled classroom, library, music room, art room, indoor and outdoor playgrounds and sleeping room.
 
Skills:
 
*To assist all children to develop a love of learning and an excitement about coming to school each day
*Create a high quality, rich, stimulating and enabling learning environment containing items that will capture pupils’ attention and lead to independent exploration
*Make effective use of assessment information on pupils’ attainment and progress when teaching and in planning future learning.
*Teaching and classroom management
*Set high expectations for pupils’ behaviour, establishing and maintaining a good standard of discipline through well focused
*Establish a safe, clean and secure learning environment which promotes pupils’ confidence
*Providing frequent opportunities for pupils to learn through talk and interaction
*Modelling good social skills to children
*Listening carefully to pupils, analysing their responses and responding constructively in order to take their learning forward
*Selecting and making good use of ICT and other learning resources which enable learning objectives to be met

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
3 Years
Type of Staff:
Male or Female can apply to this job
Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted
Additional:
**MUST be 27 years old or above in order to apply work visa**

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 6000 up to 8500   MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) per month based on experience and qualification, 3-8 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of 1500 MYR per month   MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) provided
