AP Certified Science Teachers are needed for A BIG REFORM PROJECT in the UAE. You will be outlining the British Curriculum and you will be teaching in national schools.
The project is in the northern states of the United Arab Emirates (Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Al Fujairah, Omm Al Quwain)
The Job Requirements:
**To be an AP certified Science Teacher
**A minimum of two years' experience as a Science Teacher in an AP program
**2 years experience in teaching Science
**Have a track record as an effective teacher
**A degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Chemical engineering or a degree with substantial Chemistry component.
**Approved AP certification
**A Level or equivalent teacher will be accepted (certification training to be provided)
**Be a native English speaker or have achieved IELTS 6+ Academic for a non-Native English Speaker

The Job Specifications:
**Ensure all teaching resources are available for the students
**Ensure continuous and consistent drive in lessons and planning
**Watch closely students' achievements and ensure students data is up to date
**Communicate with parents and external agencies when and where required
**Report student concerns to the coordinator
**Collaborate with colleagues on the program and provide support if it is needed
**keep track of students' academic progress
**Model behaviour
**Be responsible of child protection and be aware of safeguarding policies
