Description

An established international school in Shanghai is currently seeking for an experienced and professional A Level Math teacher to join their successful team in August 2018. 
 
To apply for the position, you need to meet the following requirements:
 
*Bachelor degree in Math or relevant subject
*Teaching qualification such as PGCE/QTS
*Native speaker of English
*Good understanding of the British curriculum 
*Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, strong NQT will be considered 
*Flexible to adapt into new culture 
 
The school is located in the centre of Shanghai city with easy access to public transport. It adopts the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) curriculum and caters students from IGCEs to A Levels. 
 
The school has just below 400 Chinese students at present with over 40 teaching staff. Students are known to be hardworking and have good discipline. All the teaching staff in the school are fully qualified teachers with over 10 different nationalities. 
 
The school has two campuses approximately 10 mins away from each other. All the classrooms are equipped with smart-board facilities. Other facilities in the school include science labs, ICT labs, canteen, medical room, sports facilities, multi-purpose hall and art room.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 18,000 up to 27,000  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of 7,000RMB  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) provided
Medical:
State/Public medical provided
Flights:
8,000RMB  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) Allowance is provided
Bereavement Leave:
Bereavement leave given
Emergency Evacuation:
Emergency evacuation given
Contract Length:
2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
