In 2008, the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) embarked on the development of an education policy agenda that defined the guiding principles, vision, and objectives for the Emirate’s education system. The education policy agenda was developed with the participation of key stakeholders. Education in Abu Dhabi is organized into three main categories: public schools, private schools and higher education. There are over 30p schools in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Gharbia. The schools follw New SchoolModel/OBL curriculum.
Teacher Requirements –
Native English speaker
Minimum Bachelors Degree
At least 3 years of latest regular teaching experience in schools.
A valid teaching license from your home country (NO - CELTA/DELTA/TEFL/TESOL).
