My client is looking for an Secondary Principal to join this established and fully accredited British school located in the city of Lusaka in August 2017.
This established International school welcomes students and teachers from around 30 nationalities and delivers the Cambridge International curriculum The school is equipped with ICT suites, full size swimming pool, science labs and football courts.
As a Secondary Principal, you will:
**Responsible for the coordination of all secondary school activities and programs.
**Actively promote international education opportunities for students to develop global leadership skills and an understanding of global issues.
**Responsible for developing, monitoring, evaluating and promoting the secondary school instructional program.
**Work with Programme Coordinators / Curriculum Coordinators to ensure current innovative educational practice, relevant curriculum content and regular assessment of the educational quality.
**Develop school improvement plans with staff that aligns with the schools long and short term goals.
**Being the Exams Officer for the Cambridge International Exams written at the school
**Use meaningful data and statistics to make informed decisions on school improvement.
**Lead a system of faculty / staff monitoring whereby all teachers receive systematic feedback on their professional performance.
**Recognize and promote the use of Information Technology as an essential 21st century learning tool. Effectively use technology for efficient and effective administrative practices.
**Lead the production of secondary curriculum and promotional documentation.
**Coordinate and supervise a secondary school management team, including the Assistant Principal, Dean of Students and Heads of Departments.
**Manage a secondary school budget and lead future budget planning.
**Assist in the process of recruiting high quality teachers for the school.
**Plan, propose and manage staff assignments.
**Organize programs for assistance and orientation for new teachers.
**Responsible for development of the master schedule in conjunction with the Primary School Principal.

Requirements:
**BA Degree with a PGCE or QTS (Geography)
**NPQH is beneficial
**Strong leadership experience in teaching Humanities with willing to be promoted as a Secondary Principal
**Ability to adapt to a different culture
**Have excellent knowledge of collecting and analysing data and using it to promote the most effective learning and outcomes
**Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Headteacher
**International experience is preferred but not essential
