My client is looking for an Assistant headteacher to join this established and fully accredited British school located in the city of Lagos.
The successful candidate will join the family of educational experts in August 2017.
This established International school has been established 13 years and welcomes students and teachers from around 30 nationalities and is proudly a non profit school.
As an Assistant Headteacher, you will:
**Support the Head of School and Director in promoting and developing a vision for the future of the school; demonstrating inspirational leadership and creativity at all times.
**Play a significant role in the school improvement planning process, taking account of the agreed priorities of the school and reflecting specifically on personal areas of responsibility.
**Meet with key stakeholders, even at very little notice, and conduct such meetings professionally and within the ethos of the school.
**Contribute to the identification of key areas of strength and weakness in the school with detailed reflection on day to day working knowledge of the school’s policies and practices.
**Be prepared to support the recruitment, retention and where necessary the disciplinary processes of the school.
**Exemplify the development and application of agreed policies, priorities and expectations, so as to set an outstanding example to other colleagues.
**Develop and enhance a culture of team work, in which views of members of the school community are valued and taken into account.
**Contribute to the self evaluation of the school.

Requirements:
**BA Degree with a PGCE or QTS
**Strong leadership knowledge
**Ability to adapt to a different culture
**Has excellent knowledge of collecting and analysing data and using it to promote the most effective learning and outcomes
**Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Headteacher
**International experience is preferred but not essential
**A track record and evidence of demonstrating creative thinking and showing initiative.
**A love of learning and a passion for securing the best outcomes for the children in our care.
