My client is a prestigious international school delivering the National Curriculum of England and Wales and they are currently looking for the perfect Deputy Head Teacher to school in 2017.
As a Deputy Head Teacher in a primary school setting, you will:
**Play a major role under the direction of the Headteacher in formulating the aims and objectives of the school, establishing the policies through which they shall be achieved, managing staff and
resources to achieve the aims and objectives of the school and monitor progress towards theirachievement.
**Undertake the professional duties of the Deputy Headteacher reasonably delegated to you by the Headteacher.
**Provide professional leadership and management of School Development Plan priorities
**Be responsible for the production and evaluation of attendance and punctuality data to
identify groups of students with attendance concerns.
**To oversee the effective provision of Curriculum Enrichment opportunities including the cocurricular
programme of the school.
**Participate in the school’s arrangements for performance management and other
professional development activities.

Requirements:
**BA Degree with a PGCE or QTS
**Strong senior leadership experience in a primary school setting
**Ability to adapt to a different culture
**Minimum 4 years in Primary school leadership
**International experience is preferred but not essential
**Be sensitive to the linguistic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds of the children and show
an awareness of gender and class issues.
