IB Chemistry Teacher Job Description
**Plan lessons that are fun, practical and engaging
**Ensure you have a classroom that meets health and safety standards
**Differentiate your lessons to meet the needs of your learners
**Assess your students on a regular basis to see if they are meeting the right standards
**Attend departmental meetings
**Be a good role model for your students
**Carry out lunch time duty
**Ensure your reports are up to date and marking is done regularly
**Issue and mark homework on a regular basis
**Attend IB workshops
**Report to the Head of Science

You wil need to be a 21st century educator to join my client in the UAE for August 2017. You need to have excellent subject knowledge, be adaptable, hardworking and ready to make a difference to students in the UAE.

My client has campuses are spread in the UAE in:
  • Abu Dhabi
  • Al Ain
  • Sharjah
  • Ras al Khaimah
Serving a majority Emirati student population we are seeking male and female maths teachers, that can deliver maths to a high level to students where English is not the first language.

Requirements to apply
  • Degree in chemistry
  • Valid teaching license in science/chemistry
  • At least 2 years teaching experience
  • Western trained
  • Native speaker of English
  • Being able to speak Arabic is beneficial but not essential
  • Up to date with modern teaching practic3es
  • Experience of the IB MYP or IB DP is beneficial
Salary Package
  1. TAX FREE up to 15,675 AED per month

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered
Prefer candidates with international experience
Additional:
**Experience of the IB Curriculum is beneficial but not essential as training will be given
**Experience of USA Curriculum such as American Harcourt, AP and Common Core is highly valued
**It will be beneficial to your application if you have experience of working in the Middle East or with non-native speakers of English

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 12,375 up to 15,675  AED (UAE Dirham) per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE

500AED per month
