**Creative Curriculum

SeekTeachers is now working with an exciting NEW nursery due to launch next year and we are seeking an experienced female nursery teachers that have experience delivering the Creative Curriculum to join August 2017!

To apply you need the folowing;
  1. Degree in Early Childhood or
  2. Associate Degree in Early Childhood
  3. Should have experience of the Creative Curriculum/EYFS/Montessori or Emillio Reggio
  4. Being bi-lingual is advantageous but not essential
  5. Must have at least 1 years experience 
  6. Western trained
  7. Must have a high command of written and spoken English
  8. Tech savvy
Key Responsibilities
  • lanning and implementing a program that encourages the physical, social, and cognitive development of each child and that follows the policies and philosophy of the school.
  • Working with other professional staff members to plan and implement activities that carry out the philosophy of the school and accepted early childhood education practices.
  • Being respectful and cooperative as a member of a team of professionals. Helping each child to become aware of his/her role as an integral member of a group. Considering the individual child in relationship to his/her cultural and socio-economic background.
  • Establishing a positive relationship with parents of the students
 
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
A. Program
  1. Planning and implementing a program that encourages the physical, social, and cognitive development of each child and that follows the policies and philosophy of the school.
  2. Utilizing all available resources to provide an educationally sound program, including field trips, resource people, creative themes, etc.
  3. Arranging a sound nutritional program.
  4. Adapting the program to the needs of the individual child with concern for his/her interests, special need, talents, and individual style and pace of learning.
  5. Arranging for an appropriate balance of quiet and active activities.
 
B. Relationships
  1. Treating each child with dignity and respect.
  2. Working with other professional staff members to plan and implement activities that carry out the philosophy of the school and accepted early childhood education practices.
  3. Being respectful and cooperative as a member of a team of professionals.
  4. Helping each child to become aware of his/her role as an integral member of a group.
  5. Considering the individual child in relationship to his/her cultural and socio-economic background.
  6. Establishing a positive relationship with parents of the students.
 
C. Physical Environment
  1. Maintaining a physical environment in the classroom that is inviting and conducive to learning and which lends itself to the teaching of developmentally appropriate activities.
  2. Being responsible for ensuring a classroom atmosphere that is conducive to learning, fun, and positive interaction between children
  3. Assuming an equal share of the joint housekeeping responsibilities of the nursery school staff.
  4. Providing a safe and healthy environment for each child.
D. Continuing Education
  1. Attending all staff meetings, parent programs and orientations.
  2. Participating in recommended training programs, conferences courses, and other activities that ensure professional growth.
 
E. Record-keeping
  1. Keeping records of evaluation for use in planning for individual needs of each child.
  2. Keeping accurate attendance records.
     
Salary Package
  1. TAX FREE salary of up to 6000 QAR per month
  2. Housing allowance of 2500 QAR per month
  3. FRE Health Insurance
  4. FREE Annual flight up to the value of 3500 QAR
  5. FREE visa 
  6. Gratuity bonus as per Qatar labour law
  7. A 2 year contract which is renewable

Minimum Application Requirements

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 5500 up to 6000  QAR (Qatar Riyal) per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
Housing:
Housing allowance of 2500  QAR (Qatar Riyal) provided
Medical:
State/Public medical provided
Flights:
Flight(s) provided for the nursery teacher up to the value of 3500 QAR
Bereavement Leave:
Bereavement leave given
Emergency Evacuation:
Emergency evacuation given
Gratuity Amount:
Gratuity Amount of as per Qatar labour law is provided
Contract Length:
2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
Additional information:
Annual health insurance for private clinics up to the value of 2000 QAR per annum (claimable on receipt)
