An established educational organisation in China is urgently seeking for a Chief Academic Officer (CAO) to join them ASAP. The position will be based in Beijing, China and lead the school International Business Division and in charge of the overall Academic Management and Operation.
Requirements to apply:
- Masters Degree of above in Education
- Minimum of 5 years teaching experience
- Experience working in international education
- Good knowledge of the American Education system and international education
- Familiar with Chinese culture and Chinese students
- Native English speaker
- Minimum of 3 years in leadership experience

Job descriptions:
- Lead and guide the academic research and development to support the international school division
- Build a scientific academic system which is suitable for the students according to the school mission and vision of international business based on the main curriculum
- Work closely with each school's academic director and leading teachers to design curriculum and related teaching guide
- Lead and supervise the implementation of curriculum, course of study and student evaluation
- Work within a group to determine the students' learning progress and adaptation of the curriculum and course of study
- Communicate closely with students' learning and adaptability to evaluate our domestic curriculum's success and revise accordingly
- Design a professional development plan for the academic managers and teachers according to the curriculum requirement
- Assist HR of the international business division in building relations with international teachers' recruitment channels
- Assist HR with defining teacher qualification requirements and managerial positions at the school
- Create academic documents for marketing communications
- Participate in school marketing activities and meetings as required
