We are currently seeking for a creative and responsible PYP Primary teacher on behalf of a well- established school based in the capital city of China.
The key responsibilities include:
*Promote a learning environment where children are safe, happy and show consideration for others at all times
*Promote good behaviour at all times, implementing the school’s behaviour policy consistently
*Plan, prepare and deliver a broad and balanced activity based curriculum
*Access children’s learning and development
*Maintain appropriate records of attendance, progress, development and attainment in line with the school’s policy
*Ensure children are supervised at all times
*Build children’s esteem
*Create an atmosphere of trust and co-operation between home and school by working and communicating with parents
This international school is located in the suburb of Beijing with a large and modern campus. This school currently catering for 2,000 children with over 20 different nationalities. There are approximately 200 teaching staff mixed with 80% expatriates and 20% non-expatriates. All the expatriate teachers are qualified western trained English native speaker.
Continuing professional development is provided to ensure staff success and promotion of high quality learning and teaching. The work hour consists of 35 hours Monday to Friday, and teachers normally get 40
days holiday per annum.
